it's a combination of both methane and the electro-magnetic fields around the area, the sea monsters would probably reside elsewhere other than just the triangle, and not to mention, the methane would probably rip them apart as well, and the telepotation idea... i dunno if it works that way

What does it matter why everything disppears there. It disappears and thats all. maybe theres a rip in the universe people get teleported to somewhere in space
